The documentary fee is not a government fee and is not required by law. Vehicle inventory and availability may vary, and vehicles may be sold before posting. Courtesy Transportation Vehicles (CTP/CTA/Loaners) are provided while customer vehicles are serviced. A CTP vehicle may qualify for new-vehicle incentives when sold as a retail sale or lease, but Michigan regulations require it to be sold as a used vehicle. All documentation must reflect this. Once titled to the dealership, it cannot be sold as a new or demo vehicle. The warranty period begins when a vehicle enters CTP service.
